Q:
What about
the glass quality?
A: We only buy and
import high quality picture framing glass from China. Our glass is washed
and then paper interleafed between sheets at no extra cost to our clients,
whereas most locally produced glass is packed with powder in between sheets,
making cleaning a highly time consuming process in picture framing. Washed
glass is also available from our competitions at a premium. Also, our
glass crates are much easier to handle. They are packed 2,200 s.f. per
crate as opposed to locally produced glass which is packed 4,000 s.f.
per crate. For clear glass in thicknesses 3mm to 12mm, we ship directly
from our warehouse in China. Transit time to the West Cost is about 3
weeks and to the East Coast is about 4 weeks.
Q:
How is the glass packed?
A: LPN glass is packed
2000 s.f. per case whereas North American glass is packed 4000 s.f. per
case, making it harder to handle.
Q:
What are some other advantages
with LPN Glass?
A: With us, the minimum
order is only 1 crate of glass, not one truckload. Our standard sizes
range from 4" x 6" to 40" x 60". There is no premium or surcharge on sizes
8" x 10" and larger. However, a small premium is applicable to sizes
smaller than 8" x 10". With longer lead time, we can also supply custom
sized glass. If you are a volume user, we can quote you one unit price
for our glass, freight included. Our glass, as with all our other products,
is very competitively priced. We carry a large inventory of 2mm standard
sized glass in our Toronto warehouse.
Q: Do you support a "Boxed Glass Program"?
A: Yes, we also have
a boxed glass program. It is sold in 50-sq.ft. cartons, 40 cartons per
crate. This program is only available to distributors of framing material.
Most standard sizes are available and shipping is within 24 hours in most
cases (95% of time). Custom sizes are also available in this program upon
request.

to you is much lower than the most competitively priced North American
Glass.
